Following a disappointing 2016 that could end without a post-season berth, HOU will enter the offseason with plenty of questions. Both left field and center field look uncertain, and despite having a legit first baseman of the near future in A.J. Reed (1B, HOU) and plenty of depth, none of the 1B candidates have hit enough to stake a claim on immediate playing time. Barring significant winter acquisitions, newcomer-without-a-position Yulieski Gurriel (1B/3B/DH, HOU) will likely be an option here and/or in left-field, given his projection as an everyday bat. The free agent status of disappointing Jason Castro (C, HOU)—62% ct%, .213 BA—will also force a hard look at the catching duties, a decision as to whether Evan Gattis...
