NL Central: Joshua Báez is red hot in Memphis

The Cardinals have continued to roll with a 37-29 record, including a 7-3 mark in their last 10 games. They are also finally approaching full-strength in their outfield with Lars Nootbaar joining the team for the first time this season last week and Nathan Church returning from the IL over the weekend. 

Those moves shifted both Bryan Torres and Nelson Velázquez to the bench, which gives the Cardinals remarkably solid outfield depth on the 26-man roster. Depth is always an asset for a team in contention, and for the Cardinals that depth continues at AAA-Memphis where 22-year-old Joshua Báez has looked outstanding for his first time at the level.
