Erik Davis (RHP, WAS)
Davis, 26, has been called up to make his major league debut, providing bullpen depth while Bryce Harper (LF, WAS) is on the 15-day DL. Davis was drafted by San Diego in the 13th round in 08' after pitching at Stanford. He was primarily a starter until 2012 when he was moved to the bullpen, and has been a bit old at each level. He is a pitcher who relies on strong command along with a cerebral approach to make up for his lack of raw stuff. He did put some more velocity on his fastball, however, after being moved to the bullpen. He was throwing it 87-89 mph, but it now sits at 92-95 consistently with good...
