Francisco Peguero (OF, SF)
Peguero (24) impressed SF enough in 2013 spring training and in start of his Triple-A Fresno season that they cleared a roster spot for him, sending third catcher Héctor Sánchez (C, SF) down to Fresno. Peguero earned 16 AB in 2012 after an August call-up. He shows a good balance of tools: hits for good average, plus defender with above-average arm, good pop, and good speed. However, he lacks plate patience, usually going after the first hittable pitch he sees.
