PT TOMORROW: AL West—Will Morales stay West?

Their #2 ranking in AL team ERA stamps SEA as being armed and dangerous, particularly at the top of the rotation where Félix Hernández and the return of Hisashi Iwakuma are the AL West's best one-two punch. If just one of Taijuan Walker or James Paxton returns close to form, the Mariners could be a legitimate post-season contender. If the offense cooperates.  

And therein lies the problem, as the Mariners entered Monday among the bottom-feeders to date in AL runs scored. Apart from 2B, mediocrity can be found everywhere on a team that ranks 14th in AL BA, 5th in strikeouts, and minus anyone with more than 6 HR entering Monday. But nowhere is the deficiency more glaring than at DH, where SEA has hit less than .200,...
