After having his 2018 season cut short by April elbow surgery, and then hip surgery in October, Corey Seager (SS, LA) will be looking to bounce back in a big way—hoping to recapture the form that made him an All-Star in 2016 and 2017. But first, he has to get onto the field.

Seager has been brought along slowly this spring, and about a week ago he began facing live pitching while serving as a DH. He’d been throwing from 150 feet, and early reports have been positive, but then earlier this week the team decided to hold him out of action. The move seems purely precautionary, and possibly related to illness, but should serve as a reminder that Seager could receive more than a few off days during the season’s first...
