As Trevor Story (SS, COL) was struggling through a rough start to the season, with a .180 BA and 57% ct% through his first 111 at-bats, many discussed his changing profile (more fly balls, lower HctX), when perhaps the more relevant question may have been whether he was playing through injury. On May 11, Story was placed on the DL with a strained shoulder, and is hoping to return at some point next week after heading out on a rehab assignment this weekend. That said, there’s no guarantee that he returns to form when added back to the active roster—and for the division-leading Rockies, it wouldn't be surprising to see them ride the hot hand, whoever that may be at the time.
