We’re talking of course about William Contreras (C, ATL), the 24-year-old backstop who has gotten off to a fine start at the MLB level in 2022: .231/.333/.692, 7 R, 4 HR, 7 RBI in 26 AB. Contreras played in one game when backup Manny Piña (C, ATL) was bothered by what was characterized at the time as minor wrist soreness in early April.
