PT TOMORROW: NL East—ATL's shuffling of starting rotation pieces could continue

The decision to oust Bud Norris (RHP, ATL) from the starting rotation wasn't a shock, as he had struggled mightily. The Braves signed him to a low risk one-year, $2.5 million contract over the winter in the hopes that he could recapture something resembling his 2014 form and subsequently draw interest from contenders at the trade deadline. Needless to say, the modest gamble did not pay off. He'll pitch in long relief for now, but could soon be released.

Mike Foltynewicz (RHP, ATL) has been summoned from Triple-A Gwinnett to replace Norris in the starting rotation. He was a bit behind schedule this spring after undergoing September 2015 surgery for blood clots in his right arm, so he began the season in the minors to work...
