The long-term absence of Christian Yelich (OF MIL) has set up an opportunity for former highly-touted prospects Billy McKinney (OF, MIL) and Tyrone Taylor (OF, MIL) to solidify their role with the club both in the short and long term. To this point, the team has been willing to rotate its outfielders based on matchup, so opportunity knocks for a player able to prove capable of producing at a consistently strong level.

The duo have had strikingly similar career paths to this point, shifting from high-pedigree prospects to toiling in the minors and appearing destined for Quad-A roles.
