Coming into 2018, there were some signs that this could be the year José Peraza (2B/SS, CIN) held down a full-time starting job and earn more than 500 AB for the first time in his career. Greg Pyron covered his bb% improvement in the second half of 2017 that, combined with a more efficient SB%, could enable him to reach his 40 SB upside. Through nearly two months of the season Peraza has a 3% bb% and .285 OBP through 195 AB that look like a carbon copy of his 2017 first-half line that led to the loss of his starting second base job last season.
