The entire Brewers’ infield has had intrigue for large portions of the season, and that’s currently the case for a pair of reasons. The first is the unfortunate accident that occurred Friday night when Willy Adames (SS, MIL) was struck in the head by a fouled-off pitch that has since forced him to the injured list. His absence has saved Brice Turang’s (2B, MIL) playing time in the short term. Since a hot opening week, Turang has struggled significantly in nearly every skill indicator (71 ct%, 84 HctX, 60 PX, -17 BPV).

The second is Owen Miller’s (1B/2B/3B, MIL) strong first season with the Brew Crew. He’s had a part-time role playing between second base, third base, and the corner outfield positions. His performance...
