The anticipated August arrival of Mike Trout's first child and the complications of leaving-and-then-returning in the pandemic season has given his playing time outlook (and risk) a hit. And now with health and two-way status, Shohei Ohtani (DH, LAA) has replaced Trout as LAA's projected value leader, particularly for leagues using daily lineups. The 25-year-old Ohtani's .883 OPS over 710 AB as a most-of-the-time DH comes with impressive skills support. But it's his return as an SP from Tommy John surgery (now 20 months in the rearview) that makes him so intriguing in the projected two-month season. As he did in Japan, Ohtani will pitch just once every six days, but the numbers from his truncated 2018 rookie year...
