Fantasy managers needing to throw a “Hail Mary” might consider Jose Siri (OF, TAM).

It does not necessarily always work out when Tampa plucks an underappreciated asset from another organization — even Isaac Paredes (3B, TAM) has crashed back to earth hard after his FAAB-frenzy-inducing May and June — though it does seem that way sometimes.

Upon coming over from Houston, Siri not only started three straight games in center field but hit fifth, third (against a lefty) and then seventh in the lineup before taking a seat on August 5.

To some degree, that speaks to the fact that the Rays lineup is down some of its top performers in Wander Franco (SS, TAM), Manuel Margot (OF, TAM) and Harold Ramírez (OF, TAM).
