Glen Perkins (LHP, MIN) has a lock on the closer job for the Twins, but if he falters, who is next in line? Perkins' skills are solid and improving, such as his four-year trend of rising Cmd. The Baseball Forecaster suggests he has entered the ranks of the premium closers. However, he was shut down last September with elbow irritation, so Perkins’ owners may want to hedge with one of his potential backups.
