NL East: Julio Teherán joins the Mets after Megill's injury

Injuries have come early for the Mets as projected fifth starter Tylor Megill hit the injured list after being diagnosed with a shoulder strain four innings into the season.

However, before you go looking too deeply into the Mets depth charts, it's worth noting that the team is already looking beyond that depth chart for pitching options as they signed Julio Teherán to a one-year deal.

Teherán should slot into the rotation right away. We project him for 102 innings with his home starts coming in a pretty pitcher friendly location at Citi Field.
