Vodnik returns for Colorado

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Colorado Rockies
NEWS: Colorado activated RHP Victor Vodnik from the 15-day IL and designated LHP Ty Blach for assignment.
IMPACT: Low
BHQ SPIN: Vodnik had settled into the closer role for roughly a month before he got injured with reasonable success. He had converted 9 of 12 saves. Since Vodnik has been out, Tyler Kinley has settled into the closer role and has had some success with 4 saves and a 2.92 xERA over the last month. We are expecting roughly the same amount of saves for both Vodnik and Kinley the rest of year. Blach had been a starter over the past week, but he had very little success and will likely head to Triple-A. We will see who takes over Blach’s rotation spot moving forward.
