NEWS: Miami activated Avisaíl García, called up Jesús Sanchez, and optioned Jerar Encarnación and Luke Williams to Triple-A.

IMPACT: Low

BHQ SPIN: García missed a little over two weeks with a hamstring injury. He was in the Marlins starting lineup on September 29 and hit a game-winning grand slam. He is likely to get a good amount of playing time during the stretch. Sanchez did not start on the 29th, but is also likely to get some at bats before the season ends. Both Encarnacion  and Williams are likely finished for 2022, since they can’t be recalled before the season ends absent an IL move.
