NEWS: OF Eloy Jiménez activaled from the IL; 3B Yoán Moncada added to 10-day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Jiménez has been out since April 5 and the original estimate was a 2- to 3-week stay on the IL but he missed just the minimum. Jiménez will DH for the time being and Gavin Sheets will likely move from there to cover 3B while Moncada is out. His IL stay was back-dated to April 11, so it’s possible he’ll be back in just 10 days. We’ve bumped Jiménez’s PT 5% with the activation and deducted the same amount from Moncada, who opened the season with a .308/.325/.564 slash line. In other Sox news, the team claimed INF/OF Nick Solak off waivers and assigned him to Triple-A.
