NEWS: Baltimore agreed to a 1-year, $10 million contract with RHP Zach Eflin.

BHQ SPIN: Baltimore brought back a familiar face to its rotation, re-signing Eflin, the team’s 2025 Opening Day starter, to a one-year contract with a mutual option for 2027. Eflin was given a 4-to-8 month recovery window for the back surgery that he underwent in August, so his availability for the beginning of the season is uncertain at this point. Prior to Eflin’s signing, it appeared that Cade Povich and Tyler Wells would be competing for one rotation spot.
