RELIEVERS: Strong K/BB ratios in March

Today, we examine some spring training stud relievers to see if they have potential for impacting your league this year. The data sets are very small (7-10 innings, in fact) so this is less about the spring stats themselves and more about who has earned some attention and where they might slot longer term in their team's bullpen.

As seems to happen quite a bit this preseason, we start in Colorado where former closer Rafael Betancourt (RHP, COL) is having himself a spring. Here is the current projected array:

COL Sv IP xERA WHIP Dom Cmd HR/9 BPV R$ ADP
============       == ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== === === ===
Hawkins            25  44  3.85 1.25  5.7  2.6  0.6  68  -7 271
Ottavino            7  73  3.28 1.25 ...

Almost!

We are a week into the 2026 season and can start to look for usage patterns in fluid bullpens. Griffin Jax's season so has left managers screaming.

Every week brings changes to bullpens. One game does not give us much, but it gives us something, like a Jordan Romano (RHP, LAA) save.
