RELIEVERS: 2019 End Game Targets

This column is aimed at the end of an auction or draft. These relievers have $1 or less in projected value, but show upside to give you more if the role improves. Some of the relievers examined in this column last year were solid: A.J. Minter (LHP, ATL), Ross Stripling (RHP, LA), Craig Stammen (RHP, SD), while others were not: Matt Bush (RHP, TEX), Trevor Hildenberger (RHP, MIN) and Tommy Kahnle (RHP, NYY). It is, by definition, a fickle list. This year there are five AL relievers, five NL reliever and three bonus lefties on the list. Let's start with the AL:
