2026 Spring training scouting notebook: Volume 1

The off-season is over and the minors team is ready to begin churning out content for 2026. Today marks the first of many articles this season. Next week, the Eyes Have It podcast starts its 6th season of coverage with BaseballHQ’s co-general ,anager Brent Hershey as the guest. Callups coverage begins Opening Day and articles from Jesse Severe and Tanner Smith start at the end of April. It’s going to be a great ride. 

The first three articles of the year will be entirely about my Florida spring training scouting looks. My coverage includes complex looks and game looks on the MLB side and in Spring Breakout showcases.
