Josh Lueke (RHP, TAM)
Brandon Gomes (RHP, TAM) has been placed on the 15-day DL with a right lat strain, creating an opportunity for Lueke to join the TAM roster again after short big-league stints in both '11 and '12. Lueke, 28, spent the better part of six seasons in the minors even after being drafted out of college. Legal issues a few years ago and a forgettable '12 season delayed his ascension to the majors, but he has made notable improvements to his pitch offerings, helping Lueke get off to a blazing start in '13. His fastball velocity now is up to 95-97 mph (from 93-94), and his slider/splitter (84-85 mph) secondary offerings...
