GM's OFFICE: Chasing Wins by tracking the second man in

Yeah, I know, I know—one of the first fantasy baseball tenets everyone learns is this:

Don’t. Chase. Wins.

But these are desperate times. Heck, I’ve been telling people that this whole SEASON is a caveat onto itself. Look no further than the events since Sunday 7/26, when fantasy GMs soon realized they had stacked their rosters with too many Phillies and/or Marlins. Anyone else make a Sunday FAAB bid for the likes of Sixto Sánchez or Monte Harrison figuring to get ahead of the game before their (ahem) promotions this week? Yeah, that really worked out well.

The point being that this season is crazy enough already; why not take this chance to consider (shudder) searching for wins a bit? Here's a couple things we know about teams,...
