The surging Giants, once sure bets to be sellers at the trade deadline, are making headway in the NL Wildcard race—which, even if they don’t become buyers at the deadline, could mean a longer look at some of the faces currently on the roster. 

One such player is Mike Yastrzemski (OF, SF), the 28-year-old rookie who debuted in May after slashing .316/.414/.676 with 12 HR in 136 AB at AAA-Sacramento.
