Despite posting a 2.30 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, 32 saves and a 132 BPV in 70 IP a year ago, A.J. Ramos (RHP, MIA) will battle Carter Capps (RHP, MIA) for the closer job this spring. At first glance, this might be a rather surprising development. However, it actually makes perfect sense.

Ramos was stellar in his first season as a closer, but some cracks in the armor began to appear in the second half.
