When we last checked in on the second base situation in Milwaukee, Manager Ron Roenicke was in Scooter Gennett's (2B, MIL) corner heading into spring training. Rickie Weeks (2B, MIL) has outplayed him by a wide margin to this point, though, and is even getting some consideration for the leadoff spot. Through 37 plate appearances this spring he has nine walks, and has consistently shown the ability to draw the free pass throughout his career. However, his power has dipped a bit over the past couple of seasons, and he's likely to continue being a batting average drag.
