Starlin Castro (SS, CHC) suffered a hamstring strain March 2, but an MRI revealed it was minor, so he's expected to miss just 7-10 days of action. That may lead to some additional work at shortstop for Javier Báez (SS, CHC), but even if Castro suffers a setback, the organization appears set on having him begin the year with Triple-A Iowa. Baez has made a strong impression this spring, as he's started 5 for 12 with two home runs. His defense needs work, though, as the 44 errors he committed a season ago did nothing to quell the speculation of an eventual move to third base.

Baez is ranked #7 in the HQ100, so his future obviously appears very bright. But for a rebuilding organization, it makes sense for a top prospect that...
