But the loss of Yoenis Cepedis is significant to the offense, particularly at a time when igniter Coco Crisp (OF, OAK)—3-for-27 since the All-Star break—has missed eight consecutive starts due to neck issues. Given the uncertainty surrounding Crisp, Brandon Moss' .215 BA (20-for-92) since July 1, and dropping two of three to KC at home following the Lester trade, some concern is beginning to surface.
