PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Who closes in KC if Herrera gets traded?

Kansas City Royals

The Royals have one of the worst records in the American League, but closer Kelvin Herrera (RHP, KC) has not been part of the problem. Herrera has quieted the injury concerns that dogged him entering 2018 by posting a 0.66 ERA, 180 BPV, and career-best 68% FpK and 17% SwK through his first 15 appearances. The 28-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season, making him a prime trade candidate for Kansas City. Who are some of the best internal candidates to take over the closer role should that happen?

The rest of the Royals bullpen is a bit of a mess. The only other reliever with a BPV over 100 is Tim Hill (LHP, KC), who has moved up the ladder quickly, though seemingly as much by default as by talent....
