PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Lindor on the horizon?

Cleveland Indians

As José Ramírez (SS, CLE) continues to be challenged by major league pitching, the calls for Francisco Lindor (SS, CLE; pictured) are growing louder. Ramirez is batting .183 with a low walk rate (5% bb%). Lindor has played well at Triple-A, batting .272 with an 11% bb%. He has also stolen seven bases. If the Indians decide to call up Lindor in the near future, it will be interesting to see if Ramirez remains in the majors. At age 22, Cleveland probably does not want to turn Ramirez into a utility infielder. Another possibility for Ramirez is that he could eventually take starts away from Lonnie Chisenhall (3B, CLE). Chisenhall has batted .228 with below average HctX (92) and PX (91).

Yan Gomes (C, CLE) should return...

Almost!
