Dexter Fowler (OF, COL) has missed several games lately due to soreness in his hand and wrist, and the pain was significant enough that he underwent an MRI. The idea of giving Carlos Gonzalez (OF, COL) some time in center field was discussed, but the team decided to err on the side of caution with their star, in an effort to keep him healthy. Therefore, Gonzalez will remain in left field.

Tyler Colvin (OF, COL) has been seeing some time there, but he's not looking like a strong option, at least in the short-term. He showed his power potential last season, when he hit 18 home runs with a 164 PX in 420 at-bats. However, he's hitting just .159 since his June 8 recall.
