The Cardinals bullpen remains filled with questions following a couple of dramatic blown saves that involved both closer Mitchell Boggs (RHP, STL) and set-up man Trevor Rosenthal (RHP, STL). Manager Mike Matheny is not prone to make rash decisions, and he's expressed his support for Boggs, but he indicated that may be willing to try Edward Mujica (RHP, STL), who has been pitching the seventh inning, as the closer. Matheny said after Sunday's loss, "Mitchell's been in the eighth and been very good there, so you can see why it would be a natural transition....Right now, Mujica's making good pitches and getting the big outs when we need them."
