DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: AL Central—Stubbs, Getz, Keppinger to lose time?

Cleveland Indians

With Michael Bourn (OF, CLE) scheduled to come off the DL soon, Drew Stubbs (OF, CLE) is a candidate to lose playing time via a possible platoon with Michael Brantley (OF, CLE). Stubbs is hitting .225 and has a history of having difficulty hitting right-handed pitching (.186 in 2012, .226 in 2011). Brantley has hit right-handers at a .285 clip for his career and could take the majority of the ABs in a platoon situation. If the Indians went with a platoon in left, Bourn would play center with Nick Swisher in right field. Mark Reynolds would play 1B, with Jason Giambi (1B/DH, CLE), Ryan Raburn (2B/OF, CLE), or Carlos Santana (C, CLE) filling in at DH.
