AL Central: Keaschall closing in on return

Luke Keaschall kicked off his rehab assignment July 18th and continues to progress towards a return. He started just two games at second base during his brief time in the majors prior to the injury, while serving as DH in his other five appearances. Keaschall has started at second base in three of his last four rehab games, though his bat has yet to get going.

Keaschall is just 8 for 39 with no extra base hits since his return to action but he has drawn six free passes. His aggressiveness on the bases has also continued, as he has swiped five bags in six attempts despite the limited opportunities.
