Padres | San Diego signs James Shields
Free-agent SP James Shields (Royals) has agreed to a four-year contract with the San Diego Padres that will pay in the range of $72 million to $76 million. There is reportedly an option for a fifth year in the contract.  Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Dennis Lin
