NEWS: The Blue Jays will reinstate RHP Trey Yesavage from the 15-day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Yesavage is set to rejoin the Blue Jays for the final push of the 2026 season after being sidelined since August due to right knee meniscus surgery. Toronto plans to ease him back with a short start of around 45–50 pitches. He is tentatively lined up for one more start next weekend against the Reds, where his workload could increase. We will continue to see pitchers like RHP Spencer Arrighetti and Spencer Miles filling the bulk relief role on the Toronto pitching staff while the starting rotation works through absences via injury.
