Rays | Nathan Eovaldi could have surgery
Tampa Bay Rays RHP Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) is expected to have surgery to repair loose bodies in his elbow, but he could return this season. Eovaldi had returned from a second Tommy John surgery.  Source: Tampa Bay Times - Marc Topkin

The good news (if there is any) in the Eovaldi story is that there is no ligament damage in the arm, but the surgery and its recovery will probably keep him out for the first half of the 2018 season....
