NEWS: Oakland starter Kyle Muller has made the rotation and will start on Opening Day.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: The left-handed centerpiece of the Sean Murphy deal this offseason, Muller will make his Oakland debut in dramatic fashion. Opposite Shohei Ohtani, the 25-year-old will look to take over immediately atop a rotation already aching with the injury bug. With Drew Rucinski and Paul Blackburn both starting the year on the IL, Muller and his new teammate JP Sears will see starts the first couple of times through the rotation. The former has the best shot of sticking in the rotation when either of the veteran arms returns.
