Colorado Rockies 1B Ryan McMahon was optioned to Class AAA Albuquerque Tuesday, May 1. SS Daniel Castro was called up from Class AAA in a corresponding move. Additionally, LHP Zac Rosscup (blister) was placed on the 60-day disabled list.  Source: MLBRosterMoves
 
BHQ take: McMahon made the decision easy by hitting .180 with a double as his only XBH in 60 plate appearances. After a monster 2017 split between Double-A and Triple-A (.355/.403/.583), it was thought that the only real question to be answered was how McMahon would fare against LHP at the big league level.
