NEWS Baltimore reinstated LHP John Means from the 60-day IL and optioned RHP Joey Krehbiel to AAA-Norfolk.

BHQ SPIN: Means rejoined Baltimore’s starting rotation on Tuesday, starting his first game in the majors since undergoing Tommy John Surgery in May 2022. Indications are that Baltimore will shift back to a six-man rotation following Means’ return, with Cole Irvin remaining in the bullpen for the foreseeable future. We had already been projecting Means as likely to join Baltimore’s rotation after Irvin was moved to the bullpen last week, so only a slight increase to his projected innings is necessary at this time.
