BHQ take: Contract terms were later reported to be $300m over 10 years, with an opt-out clause after the fifth season -- and per early reports, Machado will take over SD’s wide-open 3B spot from the get-go. This in turn leaves 2B-of-the-future Luis Urías projected as the primary SS at least on Opening Day as veteran Ian Kinsler mans 2B. But Machado’s arrival in ST likely accelerates...
