| St. Louis Cardinals RHP Jack Flaherty was recalled from Class AAA Memphis Saturday, April 28. The team also optioned OF Tyler O'Neill to Class AAA Memphis. Source: MLBRosterMoves | |
| BHQ take: We noted Flaherty’s pending return on April 22nd, so no additional playing time is being added at this time. O’Neill barely got a chance to play during his time with the Cardinals, going hitless over seven at bats. He may return in 2018, but is unlikely to have much value absent an injury to a Cards regular. —Phil Hertz | |
