NEWS: Chicago placed RHP Daniel Palencia on the 15-Day IL and recalled RHP Ethan Roberts from AAA-Iowa.

BHQ SPIN: After leaving Sunday’s game due to shoulder soreness, Palencia was placed on the IL on Monday due to a right shoulder strain. Palencia is expected to undergo further testing over the next several days which will determine the severity of the injury and whether he will return this season.
