NEWS: Houston activated OF Chas McCormick (hamstring) from the IL and optioned OF/IF Trey Cabbage to Triple-A.

BHQ SPIN: The lineup and outfield situation in Houston has taken on a different shape in the three-plus weeks since McCormick went on the IL, which makes projecting playing time a bit tricky. Jake Meyers’ recent hot streak, the promotion of Joey Loperfido, Maurico Dubon’s versatility and the demotion and pending reinstatement of José Abreu all contribute to some uncertainty. For now, we are reducing Yanier Diaz’s projected PT at DH to account for all the OF/DH months to feed, but we will keep an eye on the OF/DH rotation, of which only Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez are...
