NEWS: Arizona activated OF Corbin Carroll from the 10-day IL and optioned UT Tim Tawa to the minors.

BHQ SPIN: When Carroll landed on the IL with a fractured wrist, the assumption was that he’d need multiple weeks to recover. In truth, Carroll (+20% PT) needed just 11 days. The left-handed hitter will resume the best season of his career while reclaiming everyday right field duties. Tawa (-5%) will head to the minors after slashing .200/.262/.355 (173 PA) in his first taste of the majors. He had been an important member of the club thanks to his defensive versatility, but was the choice to head back to the minors because he had the most options remaining amongst Arizona’s bench...
