This week, the column promised struggling pens, but most of those were covered Memorial Day weekend. Instead, let's look at some interesting situations starting with Tampa.
The Rays have recently been splitting their save chances between Diego Castillo (RHP, TAM) and J.P. Feyereisen (RHP, TAM) with three apiece over the past 30 days. Of course, Castillo has been good (2.51 xERA, 219 BPV) while Feyereisen has not (6.86 xERA, -75 BPV). Here are the usage numbers over the past 30 days:
