RELIEVERS: NL spring training wrap up 2017

With spring training wrapping up, we separate AL from NL. HQ readers know the sample sizes are too small to put any stock in, yet teams evaluate players for roles based on these tiny samples that we get as well as a lot of work that we never see on back fields and in situational drills. As a caveat, just remember to take it for what it is worth—particularly spring stats. (See the full caveat in the AL wrap-up column).

We start with Washington, of course. As of March 21, manager Dusty Baker said that he had not even discussed or thought about who would be the closer. Huzzah! We will do it for you, Dusty!
