Astros, Twins, Pirates, Giants, Blue Jays pens

This week is similar to last week, except this week the column looks at the bullpens for the Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, and Toronto Blue Jays. As before, the skills numbers you want are the projections in this early-going, and the usage numbers you want are a comparison between the year-to-date numbers and the projections.

We start with the Houston Astros, who are currently using Bryan Abreu (RHP, HOU) as closer with Josh Hader (LHP, HOU) on the shelf with a biceps issue. Hader completed a bullpen on Friday and will face live hitters and progress to game play after that, with a best estimate for his return in the last week of April at the earliest.
